Working for yourself has a lot of perks, but health coverage isn't one of them

Working for yourself has a lot of perks, but health coverage isn't one of them.

However, we’ve recently been certified to offer a new option in our lineup that gives self-employed individuals access to better coverage. Here’s how it works:

A consumer data company hires you as a part-time W2 employee, which qualifies you for their group plan. You continue doing whatever your job is: running your own business, selling real estate, freelancing, etc.

Your only responsibility is to do some occasional 15-minute health and wellness surveys during the year, but you’re compensated for your time.

This covers more than you: it can cover a spouse or dependents too. It’s a plan that can fit into your budget.
