I have to sign up for Medicare at 65?! But I’m still working!

I hear this question often from my clients. Once you turn 65, you are required to sign up for Medicare – even if you're still working. You can still keep your employer coverage, but you do need to sign up for Medicare. We generally recommend signing up for Medicare Part A because it's premium free, then you can add Medicare Part B once you retire.
