Medicare Part A and Part B costs: What’s the difference?

Medicare Part A and Part B costs: What’s the difference? 🧐

It’s one of the most common questions we get here in Volusia and Flagler counties. Let’s break it down simply so you know exactly what to expect!

🏥 Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance): Most people pay a $0 monthly premium because you already paid into it through your taxes. However, keep in mind there is still a deductible if you’re admitted to the hospital.

🩺 Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance): This covers your doctor visits and outpatient care. Unlike Part A, Part B does have a monthly premium (set by the government) and a separate annual deductible.

The confusion usually starts when you try to figure out how to cover those "gaps" like deductibles and the 20% coinsurance that Part B doesn't pay. That’s where we come in! As independent brokers, we’re licensed with every Medicare carrier plan available, so we show you all your options for free.

Need an unbiased look at your costs? Let’s find the best fit together!
